Jane got new yarn in last week. Aromatherapy yarn, have you ever heard of such a thing? She likes it. It seems to make her happy.
Highland Hollow Emporium 105 S. Main po box 42 Elmwood, Wi. 54740 715-639-2052 I am a place you can get good coffee, food, yarn and friendly conversation.

Saturday morning is "Chatter box" a little knitting group for kids 5-13yrs old. This is the 2nd time they have met. They are knitting away and having the best time. Jane really wants to get more little boys knitting. She says it will help them with math and reading and just generally feeling good about themselves. I Think she might be right.

"Chatter box"
. They sure are a nice couple.
Jeffrey was the in house Poet. He has such a talent for speaking the word, but not only does he speak the English language with such eloquence he also writes his own poems that we at the Emporium are hoping he will publish soon. We are all hoping these two will return again soon. It was one of the best nights I've ever had.

One of my favorite little people was in today. Brooklyn John and Jane's little Granddaughter.
Every time she comes in the shop she always wants Ice cream.
Stella is another one of my favorite little humans she was playing checkers with her mom Jesse.
Stella and her mom are getting a little goofy with the praire bonnets!! They were having fun.
This nice Gentleman is the miscellaneous anonymous Poet. He will be reciting love poems Friday night. He is a Great guy.

Maybe I'm becoming part sheep. Oh help me !!!Stop the madness, the wool, sheep spinning, madness.
I had best log off. Jane is whining about not being able to spin because I have her typing. She's still working on Dylan for the sweater she wants to knit. How much you bet she doesn't get it done before spring, then she'll want to play in the dirt. I don't understand humans, why would you want to spin wool into yarn than go play in dirt. Strange gets stranger!!!!

Jane has been so busy this week she hasn't been able to write, I've been so busy I can't even make her. We will just post pictures of some of the happenings. Tuesday the St. Paul Pioneer press went out to John and Janes farm and did an article about them. Wednesday the spinning group "Hot babes with wheels" came to spin. Thursday the newspaper photographer came and took pictures. The knitters meet for their night out. Friday night was the first wine and music extravaganza. Jane's brother Jason and his family came for the music which was awesome. Anita was the featured singer and she is wonderful. Saturday was wonderful lots of people.
Kids were having a great time in the shop.
Pie are Square shawl is off the needles. Needed is lace edging and blocking. Jane is sooooo glad, the thing is a monster.

She got alot more yarn in today. She does like the yarn.
Keith was in this morning to have coffee with Matt. Doesn't he looked shocked that Jane would take his picture? I just love the look on his face.

Just a note about John he is recovering nicely from his hernia repair. We are all trying to be especially nice to him while he is healing.
Things are going really good at the Emporium, knitters are knitting, crocheters are crocheting, coffee drinkers are drinking. (Jane is starting to be obedient again) People are coming and going. Laughing and crying. It is good to be full of people again. I hope some day all the buildings in Elmwood will be full and happy like me.
. Can't believe it! I was kinda hoping she wouldn't remember, I was planning her demise, but she did bring in the camera so I have some pictures of today. It was really busy in the shop today so she didn't get a chance to take a lot of pictures.
. Mary has been trying to get her to drink tea. But you know how that goes.
