This is peacock chicks Dad, Petey. Petey has been on the farm since 1996. How long do peacocks live anyway? I keep meaning to look that one up. The poor bantam at the bottom has just hatched out 2 little chicks. Petey likes to go and lay by her everywhere she goes. He also likes to stand over her when she sits on the chicks, he likes the peeping sound they make. It is driving her crazy she squawks and squawks at him and he will not leave her alone. Why would a big male peacock DO that?
